Setting the Mood of the Villa, Right from the Get-go
Rubble masonry and greenery on the outside
The villa at GoodEarth Malhar came with rubble masonry on the outside. So, our interior designer in Bangalore picked flowering and foliage plants that add to the rustic vibes. A vintage lamp sets the right mood for this Bangalore villa.
Enarck Wing Interior Designer Pictured a Naturally Well-lit Living Room in Bangalore
The well-lit living room
The living room in this GoodEarth Malhar home is designed to amplify the natural light it receives. Our interior designer from Bangalore picked nature-inspired hues and played with paint to create a gorgeous accent wall with diagonal bands of cream and slate grey. The pattern carries onto the shelves behind the TV as well. A basic false ceiling and a vintage chandelier illumine the room without taking focus away from the natural light it receives.
As Shravya and Suman use this space as a vacation home, the living room often sees plenty of guests. To accommodate them all, we gave them this L-shaped sofa from Urban Ladder that’s super easy to clean. Also, look out for the coffee table with nested stools: it allows more guests to be seated without taking up too much space!
A Dining Room in Warm Wooden Hues
Wood and stone in the dining space
The dining room in this villa has been designed quite simply. A stone-textured accent wall is the highlight of this room. The solid wood dining table has been carved from a single log of wood. A sconce light on the wall and an abstract pendant light over the table envelop this room in a soft, warm glow.
Sleek Kitchen Crafted by Our Interior Designer in Bangalore
Scratch-free acrylic kitchen makes cleaning up a breeze!
The fuss-free kitchen uses another colour found in nature: blue. The blue lower cabinets are beautifully matched with champagne-coloured upper cabinets. Some upper cabinets have frosted glass shutters for easy visibility, and an open shelf next to the stove allows easy access to essentials. Profile shutters add to the sleek look of this Bangalore kitchen. Our interior designer from Enarck Wing, Bangalore, used non-scratch acrylic to design this kitchen. A quartz countertop and tiles in a geometric pattern complete the look.
This Parents’ Bedroom that Doubles up as the Chill Zone
Woody hues and mirrors work their wonders
The ground-floor bedroom in this GoodEarth Malhar villa comes with a wooden sofa bed and a matching side table. A bay window celebrates the natural light in the room while providing a cosy corner to sit down. In keeping with the colours used in the room, the wardrobe is crafted in white and wooden laminate. The interior designer from Bangalore has used mirrored panels on the wardrobe to open up the space even further. The clever use of mirrors creates the illusion of a wider space even in the narrow passage leading up to the bed.
Interior Designer Celebrates Nature with Staircase Design in Bangalore
Hand-painted walls
Bursts of colour from niches on the staircase
Our homeowners, Shravya and Suman, were intrigued by the idea of wall paintings, so their interior designer brought their dreams to light with this staircase. After lengthy discussions, they settled on the idea of a maple tree shedding leaves in fall. The varying colours of the leaves sit beautifully on the exposed brick wall and perfectly suit the house’s colour scheme. The painter has even added a bench below the staircase to add to the 3D effect.
There are three niches on this wall, with the first and third having paintings of birds while the middle one is reminiscent of doors found on magical trees in storybooks. Several birds also fly around this tree, making it a riot of colour in the fall.
Finishing up with a wooden bench
The staircase ends in a passage on the first floor. At the end of this, our designer has added a wooden bench with a vintage-style street light painted over it. With the paintings, you will find yourself transported into a more charming time.
Designing a Bedroom in Lighter Hues
A simple, fuss-free bedroom
As one of the main requirements for the interior design of this villa was the ease of maintenance, our designer crafted a simple yet elegant bedroom to be Suman’s sister’s retreat. Check out this white bed from Urban Ladder, as well as a complimenting side table and chest of drawers in white and wood. The view from the large window in the bedroom has been better utilised by providing bay seating by the window. A grey laminate wardrobe with a mirror panel completes the bedroom.
A Master Bedroom that Celebrates Space, Proposed by Our Interior Designer in Bangalore
Focussing on the basics without compromising on comfort
Given that the GoodEarth Malhar villa is a vacation home, our interior designer in Bangalore advised the homeowners against filling up their master bedroom with furniture. So they opted for a simple bed with a cushioned headboard for comfort. The two large bay windows have wooden seating space to enjoy the view with a cuppa. And a grey laminate wardrobe fits into a corner, rounding off the essentials. A vintage pendant lamp on each window light up the room in a soothing glow.
Interior Designer Making the Most of the Vast Outdoors in Bangalore
Complimenting the light with vintage streetlights
How often do you come across open spaces at home in Bangalore? It would be a shame to ignore the rustic appeal of the space. So we celebrated it not just through colours and design, but also with lighting. Check out the courtyard with a rustic wall-mounted light suitably complemented by a hand-painted streetlight surrounded by flowering vines for some old-world charm!
Celebrating the view in style
How could we let the large first-floor balcony in this GoodEarth Malhar home be wasted? So, our interior designer suggested a simple rustic swing to go with the slanting roof, carved pillars, and tiled floors. Here’s to their little slice of heaven!
The interior design of this villa is as charming as its surroundings. We at Enarck Wing wish our homeowners many pleasant vacations in their home away from home!
